After School Clubs

There’s lots to be getting involved with at Woodland View!

We offer a variety of sports and activities across the whole school and would relish the opportunity for your child to attend.

This term's After School Clubs, listed below, will begin on MONDAY, 4TH NOVEMBER and the last club will take place on                          THURSDAY, 12TH DECEMBER.

All After School Clubs run Monday to Thursday, from 3.00 pm - 4.00 pm and are free of charge.

How to apply for an After School Club space.

Letters detailing the next upcoming term clubs and a return slip will be shared via email, dojo and the Letters section of our website. Paper copies of club choices will be available from the office.

• Return slips MUST be handed in to the school office.
• PLEASE DO NOT GIVE SLIPS TO TEACHERS OR EMAIL YOUR CHILD'S CHOICES TO THE OFFICE. We cannot rely on receiving these emails and have in the past not been delivered to our accounts.
• THERE WILL BE A BOX AVAILABLE IN RECEPTION TO PLACE SLIPS IN AND THIS WILL BE CHECKED DAILY.

PLACES ARE LIMITED

· If your child wishes to take part in one or more clubs please state their FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD CHOICES.

· PLEASE ENSURE YOU STATE IF YOUR CHILD IS WALKING OR IS BEING COLLECTED FROM THE SCHOOL SITE.

· We endeavour to ensure that ALL children who apply will receive at least one place in a club of their choice.

· If spaces are available for another club they may also get a place on that club too.

· If they had a turn on a popular club that has already been run then that place will be given to a child who missed out on the club last time.

In order for your child to attend any of the after school clubs the reply slip must be completed, signed and placed in to the box in the office by FRIDAY, 18TH OCTOBER

If your child does not go to club TWICE in a row

Monday

Film Club - Year 1 and Year 2

Dance Club - Year 3 and Year 4 - Children who are taking part in a sports club MUST wear their PE kit to attend.

Colouring Club - Year 3 and Year 5

Football Club - Year 5 and Year 6 - Children who are taking part in a sports club MUST wear their PE kit to attend.

Tuesday

Maths Club - Year 6

Colouring Club - EYFS

Gymnastics Club - Year 1 and Year 2  - Children who are taking part in a sports club MUST wear their PE kit to attend.

Wednesday

Maths Club - Year 6

Board Games - Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6

Thursday

Fencing Club - Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 - Children who are taking part in a sports club MUST wear their PE kit to attend.

Film Club - Year 5 and Year 6 

Autumn Craft Club - Year 1 and Year 2
